- 500 grams beef , thinly sliced
- rice
Sauce
- 1/4 cup soya sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp ginger , freshly grated
- 1 garlic , diced

- Prepare rice as per instructions.
- In a saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients and bring to boil on medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes, then set aside.
- Marinade the beef slices with half of the sauce for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a frypan on medium high heat. Stir in beef and cook till it’s done. Add the remaining sauce and serve.
