Mexican Tostadas de Carne Asade

- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves , minced
- 5 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 tostato shells
- 1 cup pico de gallo
- shredded lettuce
- 1 cup guacamole
- variable sour cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded

- Marinade the carne aside: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lime juice, cumin, chilli powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over the steak and let it marinade from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is achieved. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice it thinly against the grain.
- Assemble the tostados: spread a layer of guacamole on each tostada shell. Top with slices of carne aside. Add pico de Gallo and any additional toppings you like.
