Ingredients
Crust
- 1 3/4 cup flour , all-purpose
- 1/3 cup sugar , granulated
- 1/2 cup almonds , ground
- 1 cup margarine , 2 blocks
Filling
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup flour , (all purpose)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine flour, sugar, and ground almonds for the crust. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Press into greased 8 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until light golden. Cool for 10 minutes.
- Filling: Beat eggs, sugar, and lemon juice together. Combine flour and baking powder. Stir into eggs and pour over the crust. Bake for 18 to 23 minutes. Cool, then sprinkle with icing sugar.
