Japanese Salad

Ingredients

salad

  • 1.2 cup green cabbage , shredded
  • 1/2 cup red cabbage , shredded
  • 2 green onion , chopped
  • 1-2 cups mushrooms , sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper , chopped
  • 2 carrots , chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli , chopped
  • 1 large English cucumber , chopped
  • 1 - 100 gr. pkg ichiban noodles , crushed
  • 1/2 cup almonds , toasted
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds , toasted

dressing

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 pkg ichiban seasoning
  • 1 tsp soya sauce

  1. Put all vegetables in a large bowl. Toast almonds and sesame seeds and add to bowl.
  2. Mix all dressing ingredients together (I generally triple the dressing recipe to have some around for subsequent days. 3.Add raw noodles and dressing and serve
