Italian Apple Cake with Sour Cream

- 2, large apples , peeled and chopped
- 200 ml sour cream
- 1 cup flour , all purpose
- 1/2 cup sugar , granulated
- 1/2 cup butter , melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- a pinch salt

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, melted butter until smooth. Add the sour cream and vanilla extract and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Gently stir in chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
